Improve the lubrication premise: the relationship between the stamping forming quality of the bending machine and the lubricant is very important. Poor lubrication premise or improper selection of lubricant may lead to sheet cracking.

Adjustment of drawbead parameters or blank holder force: Although the use of drawbead can prevent wrinkles at the flange, its side effect is to increase the moving resistance of materials entering the die. Therefore, improper drawbead parameters may lead to excessive moving resistance of the bending machine and tensile cracking of the plate.

Add auxiliary process: under the condition of meeting the functional requirements of parts, appropriately increasing the die fillet or reducing the slope can reduce the moving resistance of materials in the forming process, so as to avoid fracture. The macro fracture of bending machine is usually caused by excessive expansion in the plane of thin plate, and the micro fracture can be caused by simple expansion or simple bending. In the final analysis, whether it is micro fracture or macro fracture is caused by excessive local tensile strain of material. Micro fracture refers to the generation of cracks in the sheet metal that are difficult to see by the naked eye. Although the crack depth is very shallow, some materials have failed.
